A medically‑supported plan that focuses on habits you can keep. Your IDOS team, GP, psychologist and nutrition professional, work with you to set realistic goals, improve day‑to‑day routines and track progress safely.
The weight loss programme at IDOS has been developed to help clients loose weight with or without weight loss drugs in a monitored and safe environment. Our multidisciplinary programme includes medical weight loss injections, regular check-ins, blood testing, nutritional therapy, and counselling.
Long-term success is achieved through behaviour change, not just medication.
The weight loss programme is a 6 month or 2 year programme. You can choose between our basic programme which involves individual coaching from our support team or an all inclusive package with nutritionist, counsellor and exercise coach depending on your needs and requirements, that will ultimately help you achieve your goals.
We start by understanding your health, lifestyle and goals. Together we build a practical programme covering food, movement, sleep and stress, with regular check‑ins to review progress. When helpful, we arrange other medical services such as a sleep assessment to exclude sleep pathology, so your programme stays safe and tailored.
Who it’s for: Adults who want structured support to lose weight, improve energy and reduce health risks.
Your journey starts with a detailed GP assessment which will determine three things:
1. Your suitability for our weight loss service.
2. Whether you would have monthly monitoring via the GP or via the nurse (coaching)
3. Which add ons you may benefit from or to reduce risks for example blood testing at the start of the service and at 5 months.
Once you have been allocated to either the GP led service or caoching service (via nurse) , you’ll receive training on how to use medication safely, plus regular check-ins to monitor results and side-effects, and to tailor food, sleep and movement habits to your life.
Add ons
You’ll also have blood tests and /or meet our nutritionist and counsellor at key points to build routines that last. These add ons are scheduled to make the treatment rewarding, safe and worth while.
Bring any recent test results and a list of medicines or supplements. If you can, keep a simple 3–7 day snapshot of meals, sleep and activity. This will help us tailor advice quickly. Wear comfortable clothing for measurements. If you have a long‑term condition (for example diabetes or thyroid issues), we’ll make sure your plan fits safely with your care.
